Uganda | Eight Arsenal Fans Arrested For Celebrating Victory Over Manchester United

Police in Uganda have arrested at least eight Arsenal fans in the city of Jinja after celebrating the club’s win against Manchester United in the English Premier League.

The fans were wearing the club’s red jersey and carrying a symbolic trophy.

Revealing why the move was necessary, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau explained that the reduction of the makeup of the technical and administrative crew of the Super Eagles and all other national teams is for easier management and to save cost.
