Following Ayo Makun's reaction to the speculations surrounding his twenty-year-old marriage, Mabel Makun, the wife of the popular comedian AY Makun, has taken to social media to share a cryptic post stating that she won't be dragged into drama, rather, she would distance herself.
AY Makun publicly addressed their alleged marital crisis on Sunday, saying neither himself nor his wife is free of blames.
The couple became the subject of intense speculation regarding their relationship status in early 2024 with rumours gaining momentum when Mabel Makun expressed concerns over threats to her life and subsequently unfollowed her husband on Instagram.
Speaking about twenty-four-hours after her husband’s online clarification about their troubled marriage, Mabel conveyed a clear message about her stance on the issue of respect in relationships.
She wrote, “Distance is my new response to disrespect. I don’t react. I don’t argue, I don’t dive into the drama. I simply remove myself.”
