Celebrity Marriages Fail Because Many Front Their Celebrity Life, Fake Life Is Expensive - Phyna

Ijeoma Josephina Otabor known popularly as unusual Phyna has opined that the "fake it until you make it” mantra is even more expensive and whilst urging upcoming to maintain a low real life with their resources, she added her two cents on why many marriages in the Nigerian entertainment landscape fail.

The reality TV star spoke of the hurdles that she face while struggling to hit the limelight.

And speaking on the "fake it until you make it" mantra, Ijeoma said, "Phyna spoke of the “fake it until you make it” mantra that many upcoming entertainment stars uphold in Nigeria.

“Only they know what’s there to fake. Even fake life is now more expensive. With the money you would spend on living the fake life, you can live a decent and real life from it. So faking it till you make it is really nonsense,” she added.

Celebrity Marriages Fail Because Many Front Their Celebrity Life

When asked why she thinks celebrity marriages crash often, Phyna blamed those who take their fame to the head.

She said, "Many celebrity marriages fail because most of them front the celebrity life. It’s when you start bringing in talks about you being this and that in a marriage that you start having problems. Make your relationship like that of normal people with normal lives. That way, it’s going to be successful."

"We have celebrities that have successful marriages now. An entertainer marrying another entertainer is nice because they both understand what they’re doing. They both understand the business, so when I tell you I’m busy, you’d understand. But a non-entertainer wouldn’t.

“You just need to be at the table with someone that understands. When I’m with my boyfriend, I don’t even look like a celebrity or talk celebrity. I’m like any normal girl", she added.

Phyna won the 2022 edition of BBNaija, defeating her rivals to snag the one hundred million (₦100 million) grand prize.
